This is an original watercolor painting (not a print!). This painting depicts cotton sedge, Star Lake, and Mount Madison in celebration of the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Madison Hut. It was originally done as an illustration for Appalachian Mountain Club hut T-Shirts. I worked in the huts for several seasons and later created these images for them. This painting was done on Arches 140lb cold press watercolor paper, with Windsor and Newton watercolors. It is signed by the artist, and arrives packaged in an archival plastic sleeve.
